If you’ve used Fiazo lately, you might have noticed that your searches feel a little snappier. We’ve moved the service to a faster server alongside some new optimizations on the backend. You’ll start to notice the index growing by a significant margin within the next week or so.

Today, we’ve decided to make Fiazo a little smarter by recognizing your browser and operating system to adjust the features that we offer you accordingly. For example, if you visit us from a Mac you’ll see a small tag line on the front page that reads “New! Add Fiazo to Your Dashboard.” Similarly, in Internet Explorer and Firefox, you’ll be given the option to add Fiazo to your browser’s search box.
We have lots of other little tweaks planned over the next few days; the most interesting of which is an ability to switch Fiazo between “Simple” and “Advanced” modes. Simple will remain essentially the same as it is now. Advanced, however, will offer users more options to narrow their search along with more extensions (Mainly new widgets and new search box capabilities) in addition to some special features that power users will surely appreciate.
So far, we’ve been honored with the response that Fiazo has received from the design community and are happy to announce that several new sites have been added at the request of our users. Keep up the good work!
